My introduction to teaching different forms of movement started with board sports. After being a wakeboard/wakesurf/waterski intructor for three years, I moved to the mountains and was a snowboard instructor for another two years. Since then, I've been working off and on as an international mountain guide, leading expiditions around the world as a wilderness first responder (WFR), group trip leader, and hardskills backcountry outdoorsman.
After sharing my knowledge with people about interacting with their environments in novel and fun ways, I found my passion is sharing my knowledge in health and overall wellbeing. My rigorous and physically strenious past brought me closer to the connection my body has with my mental health and consciousness. From there, I've learned so much from various mindfulness practioners and meditation experts that has lead me to further expand said consciousness in order to find what really powers me, my Source.
I moved to Sydney, Austalia and founded "Sunrise Social Club", a community in which I lead morning runs on the beach, as well as sunset guided breathwork and meditations.
From there, I moved to Montezuma, Costa Rica, where I completed my RYT-200 yoga teacher training with School Yoga Institute, specializing in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga (with supplementary learnings in Yin, Ashtanga, as well as Conscious Connected Breathwork. I am a Yoga Alliance backed instructor, and even got to teach Yin-inspired Resoritive flows at a local gym in Utah.
Most recently, I completed the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) program. I have been exercising and working on strength and conditioning practices in gyms for 10+ years, but was egar to deepen my knowledge and understanding of the biomechanics, fueling, and more technical sides of working out.
